District offices for Herbold and Johnson

Council members Lisa Herbold and Rob Johnson today both announced information about their district offices — each taking a different approach.

Herbold, the District 1 council member, acknowledged that her district serves many different communities and has decided to have a “virtual” district office that rotates through each community, with office hours from 12:00 noon to 7:00 P.M. one day every other week. She announced today that the first one will be March 4th at the Southwest Neighborhood Service Center, 2801 SW Thistle Street.

Johnson, the District 4 representative, has picked a single physical location: 4516 University Way NE. They hold their open house celebration at 4:00 P.M. on March 4th (clearly a popular day).  They have not yet announced the days and hours that the office will be open.

District 5’s council member Debora Juarez has previously announced that she will be opening up a district office at North Seattle College in March.
