The Stranger, Q13, Seattle Times, MyNorthwest, Puget Sound Business Journal, and the Seattle PI all report on the ongoing reaction to the Council’s vote to deny a street vacation for the proposed SODO Arena — including a string of hateful, misogynistic remarks aimed directly at the female members of the Council.
Bleacher Report, Sporting News, The Oregonian, YardBarker, NBC Sports, KING5, FOX Sports, and Total Pro Sports report that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has joined the fight to bring the Sonics back to Seattle.
