News roundup: affordable housing

Affordable housing, which comes up for discussion in Council committee today, tops the morning’s news coverage.

Capitol Hill Seattle Blog (twice) Crosscut, The Urbanist,  and Forbes both discuss the Mandatory Housing Affordability legislation up for consideration in the PLUZ committee this morning.  (I almost didn’t post the Forbes op-ed piece, since it’s so blatantly divorced from reality and actual facts, but in the spirit of knowing what people are actually saying out there… there it is. You’ve been warned.)

Seattle Times reports that the controversial ethics code ordinance has ben sent back to committee for rework.

Seattle Times also reports on the effort to craft a version of Sound Transit 3 that will get approved by voters.
