This week in Council Chambers

Back to a full nine members, and back to work on the budget…

Monday morning during its weekly Council Briefing, the Council members will hear a presentation on recommendations for addressing the 11 buildings in Seattle with unreinforced masonry.

Monday afternoon’s Full Council meeting should be short, with just two votes on contract rezone projects.

This week’s Introduction and Referral Calendar is also short, with two related items: a contract rezone and an application for a street vacation for a project by Trinity Trailside.

Tuesday evening, the Committee on Civic Arenas will hold a public hearing on the proposed agreement with OVG for redeveloping Key Arena.

Thursday afternoon and Friday morning and afternoon, the Council will hold Budget Committee meetings to begin discussion of issues the Council members want to address with the Mayor’s proposed budget. Proposals for changes in this round of discussions must be submitted by Council members by noon on Monday.
