This week in Council Chambers: March 29 – April 2, 2021

March is a rare five-week month, and since the Council’s committee schedule only extends for the first four, there are no committee meetings this coming week. So enjoy the bye week.

Monday morning’s weekly Council Briefing will have another briefing from the Office of Intergovernmental Relations on the ongoing state legislative session.  The Council will also hold an executive session with city attorneys to discuss pending litigation.

Monday afternoon’s full City Council meeting is scheduled to include final votes on:

  • an ordinance granting the right to counsel to tenants facing eviction;
  • an ordinance revising Seattle City Light’s retail rates;
  • an ordinance establishing landmark protections for the Swedish Club building;
  • appointments to the Green New Deal Oversight Board and the Community Involvement Commission.

This week’s Introduction and Referral Calendar includes three appointments to the Pedestrian Advisory Board.
