Every 3-5 years, the city’s Emergency Management Plan gets updated in pieces. Three of those pieces came in front of the Public Safety, Civil Rights, and Technology Committee for approval today.
The three parts being updated now are:
There aren’t large changes in the plan, though it was reorganized in order to make it easier for stakeholders to understand their specific responsibilities in an emergency situation.
The committee approved it for final vote at Monday’s full Council meeting.
