In the run-up to this afternoon’s meeting,  the city’s response to the homelessness crisis is dominating the news this morning.  Plus a few other tidbits.

Capitol Hill Seattle Blog covers the spending plan that is being considered.  MyNorthwest looks at the Ballard Chamber of Commerce’s reservations about asking law enforcement to ease up on the homeless. South Seattle Emerald has an op-ed about what will need to change in order to truly address the homelessness crisis.  Crosscut reports on Council member Sally Bagshaw’s “all hands on deck” call to get 1,000 more shelter beds in place.
