Monday morning at its weekly Council Briefing, the Office of Intergovernmental Relations will give its last regularly-scheduled briefing on the state legislative session — though it may give irregular updates the special session progresses. Also Monday morning, the Select Committee on the Budget meets to receive an update from the City Budget Office on city revenues and the economic climate. Monday afternoon’s Full Council meeting will feature the approval of 29 appointments. This week’s Introduction and Referral Calendar has another 15 appointments. Monday afternoon’s Full Council meeting will feature final votes on several items, including: the MHA upzone for downtown and South Lake Union; a resolution retiring old, inactive bills that never moved forward; an update to the SEPA review exemption rules for “infill” development projects downtown; an update to the funding plan for the Yesler Terrace public housing project; a lease agreement for new office space for the Customer Service Center in the Central district. Monday morning, the Council Briefing will include another weekly briefing from the Office of Intergovernmental Relations on the state legislative session. Monday afternoon in the Full Council meeting, the Council will take a final vote on approving an omnibus bill that makes a series of minor updates to the city’s land use and zoning codes. It will also vote on a 12-year lease for the Roger Dahl Rifle Training Range at West Seattle Stadium, and on a bill establishing a funding plan for the Office of Labor Standards using business license tax revenues.
