Monday is a holiday, so the regular Monday meetings are on Tuesday and the regular Tuesday meetings move to Friday. Here’s what’s up.

It looks like the big action this week will be Tuesday morning.

Monday will be busy; not so much the rest of the week.

The first half of the week is packed.

City Hall is closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so the regular meeting schedule is shifted around.

The Council slowly starts to ramp back up its work this week.  

The gears of local government slowly start moving again this week.

The City Council is in recess for the next two weeks, and returns on January 4. SCC Insight will also be taking some time off over the holidays, though expect the occasional post when news breaks or on other topics of interest. Stay safe and healthy, wear a mask, wash your hands, maintain physical distance, get a COVID vaccine when your turn comes around, and please avoid large holiday gatherings. We’re not out of the woods yet, but we can finally see the path to get there.  

The Council wraps things up for the year before heading out for a two-week winter recess.
